Pentucket Players Inc. is governed by a resident Executive Director, John R. Buzzell,
who is also the organization's founder.
In addition to Mr. Buzzell an Executive Board of Officers is elected bi-annually from the current membership.

In addition the Board has 7 Directors-at-large elected annually from the general membership.

Elections to the Board are held at the Annual Meeting, which takes place on the last Sunday of June.

John R. Buzzell
Executive Director
John is the Executive Director for Pentucket Players Inc. He is also the
resident artistic director and co-founder of the organization. John has been
a resident of the Merrimack Valley area all of his life and is an eighth
grade Humanities teacher in nearby Lawrence, MA.

Marie Bliven
Marie serves as President for Pentucket Players. She has served as
producer for several mainstage productions,
working closely with John Buzzell. Marie is also
the groups resident costume and wardrobe supervisor and has won major
design awards for her work in several Pentucket Player's productions.!!!

Peter Bliven
Peter is our organization's Treasurer and keeps a watchful eye on expenses!!!!
Peter also prepares our monthly financial statements and our Annual Report for
the Membership. Peter resides in Methuen and has been a loyal, hard working member
of the organization since 1997, when he appeared as Louis Howe in "Annie",
(a role he is currently recreating).

Claire Bakanosky
Having been appointed to the Board, Claire is a loyal supporter of Pentucket
Players and has been for several seasons. Claire recently spearheaded our
"Annie" ad campaign raising over $11,000.00; our most successful campaign
to date. Claire's work can also be admired onstage as she has created many
of the period hairstyles and make-up designs for several Pentucket Players productions!

Kathy DeNicola
Kathy serves as Recording Secretary and has been a member of Pentucket Players for four years, having come into the
group when her daughter, Lauren, appeared in "Annie". Kathy has appeared onstage
in "My Fair Lady", "Funny Girl" and "Gypsy". She has had extensive backstage work
in the "trenches" having worked props and set crew. Kathy served as Producer
for our 2003 summer high school production of "Into The Woods" at Winnekenni
Castle. Kathy also works closely with
treasurer Peter Bliven in preparing post-production reports.
